We encourage you to visit regularly so that we can help you to maintain optimal dental health. Our dentists and hygienists can show you a daily teeth cleaning routine which will drastically reduce your chances of tooth decay and gum disease. We can also advise on the effects of diet, smoking and stress, and make recommendations to improve your oral health and prevent future problems.
Some general tips of oral healthcare:
• Brush your teeth for two minutes twice a day with fluoride toothpaste
• Cut down on how often you have sugary foods and drinks
• Floss every day and, if you’re struggling, try interdental brushes (TePes). Ask your dentist or hygienist for advice.
You may even have health concerns you didn't realise were related to your teeth. Headaches, for example, can be caused by grinding your teeth. We can prepare a non-invasive appliance for you to wear at night. You'll be surprised at how quickly you notice improvements.
Gum disease can lead to general health problems if undiagnosed. We encourage frequent hygiene appointments and will refer you to a specialist if necessary.
