Dr Nick Maxwell
BDS MSc Restorative & Aesthetic Dentist
Nick graduated from London’s King’s College in 1998 and quickly worked his way up to the position of lead clinician. After 14 years working in predominantly private practice, he decided to buy his own practice and set up St Mary’s.
Nick oversees a team of general dentists and visiting professionals who offer a range of treatments and specialist services including oral surgery, implants, endodontics, periodontics and orthodontics.
With a special interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, Nick recently completed an Msc at Manchester University. He has also completed further professional studies in aesthetics under the mentorship of Paul Tipton, and in placing and restoring implants.
Nick is qualified to use IV and RA sedation, and techniques such as Wand, a pain-free numbing system, to help support nervous patients. Combining his friendly and positive chairside manner, he aims to put patients at ease and work with them to eventually undergoing treatment without sedation.
Outside of the practice he enjoys scuba diving and underwater photography, and has completed a string of personal challenges, including the Thames Path Challenge, diving with sharks and a skydive, to raise money for charity.
